SAWS is a total solution,from
the choice of the authentication device,
the management of the deployment through to the integration of
the product
(or that device) on the server
The digital DNA technology of Mobilegov® makes it possible
to uniquely distinguish any type
of equipment, wired or wireless.
SAWS USES HARDWARE
DEVICES TO REINFORCE INTERNET ACCESS SECURITY:
It adds
the recognition of one hardware component to the user authentication
process.
This component
can be the PC of the user, or any wired or wireless peripheral
(USB stick, Ipod, mobile phone, etc).
It protects
the user against identity theft (obtained by key logging, phishing
or visual
monitoring).
It is simpler
and more cost-effective for the provider of the service, than
a solution based
on “tokens” which he must manage: it is the customer who chooses
the hardware,
the provider of the service does not need to provide anything.
It makes it
easier for the customers who do not have to carry additional hardware.
HOW SAWSWORKS?
STEP ONE: THE RECORDING
Your customers record the hardware which they wish to use to
sign their transactions on your
server, according to a procedure chosen by you, according to the
desired security level:
The customer
can register his hardware in person at one of your premises.
He may also
very simply record it on line from his workstation (authenticated
via other means).
He may finally
record it on line via any Internet-connected PC.
The customer may request at any time to change his configuration,
according to a procedure
defined by you.
STEP TWO: THE CONNECTION
The customer connects to the service and whilst his password
is checked, SAWS checks
for the presence of the hardware component. If the password and
the hardware configuration
are verified, access to the online service is granted. Otherwise,
access is refused. |
